"Mahirap man i-juggle lahat but balance is key," she said. "Pero mas lalo po akong na-inspire sa mga batchmates ko who each had their own stories to tell, and have also reached this achievement."
The Kapamilya singer Morisette Amon a platinum album to her name, and has performed before a sold-out crowd at Araneta Coliseum. Yet for Morissette, none of those highs could compare to the pride she felt after finally moving up from junior high school.
She shared the information on Instagram Friday, remembering the time she dropped out of her school in Cebu to go after her dreams of becoming a singer in Manila.
“But now there’s today, ” Morissette wrote, posting a picture of her getting her certificate of completion from Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science and Technology High School.
She was part of the school’s “alternative learning system, ” which, she explained, allowed her to continue her studies despite her busy schedule as a recording artist.
“Mahirap man i-juggle lahat but balance is key,” she said. “Pero mas lalo po akong na-inspire sa mga batchmates ko who each had their own stories to tell, and have also reached this achievement.”
“Tulad po ng sinabi ko kanina sa speech (akalain niyo uuuun.. mas kinabahan po ako kanina kesa sa mga contests na nasalihan ko HAHA), ‘the possibilities are endless!'” she added.
